This week we'd like to introduce our 2024 bursary winners.

It was so hard to choose just one winner, so we've awarded the bursary to two promising candidates.

First off, let's meet Sophia! ๐Ÿซถ

Sophia is a German and Russian literary translator. She's currently working on Markus Heitz's thriller, Des Teufels Gebetbuch, due to be published next year.

She completed her MA in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Bath in 2022.

Welcome Sophia! ๐Ÿฅณ

The deadline for applications for the ITI GerNet bursary is 1 April!๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Email the ITI GerNet coordinator ([email protected]) to apply.

Tell us about your experience, how you meet the criteria, and how the bursary would help launch your career in translation and interpreting.

Applications can be made in English or German and should be no more than 250 words.

Viel Erfolg! ๐Ÿ€

A big thank you to Clare Suttie of Atlas Translations for joining us yesterday for her CV Clinic! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks also to our excellent Events Coordinator Anke Breach for organising and hosting this event. I'm sure we can all agree there were lots of helpful takeaways and tips to be had.

I look forward to making my CV even more creative and inspired!

I'm off to update it now... โœ
