I was curious about #macOS #Tahoe and if the UI changes would impact my app #SmashTunes, so I used a restore image to run the new os in a virtual machine using #OrkaDesktop. That works like a charm! So I you want to play around with Tahoe and don’t want to risk your main machine this a great way to do it.

When I had some music playing in #Spotify,SmashTunes crashed in its menu item wizardry. I found a way to do things differently. Bug fixed! It’s nice to be ready for mayor updates like this.

I’ll be probably by the only user that wants to control #Volumio by making use of #SmashTunes, the #macOS app for displaying #Spotify and #AppleMusic. But hey, I’m the author of this software, so why not add this functionality?

Playing around with #websockets now. A basic setup is in place. Nice to work with open hard ware.

I must add that I’m super happy with my #Rivo+ Any other owners out here? Or #Volumio users?

If you’ve got a phono preamp on which you can change the gain, impedance and/ or capacitance, experiment a bit with them. Take a look at the specs of you element and change things. And listen. I which I had done this years earlier 😀

Especially lowering the impedance made quite a change.

#NowPlaying Ry Cooder - Chicken Skin Music.

Something relaxing from the #usa. Nice music, which I have not listened to too much. I guess it’s #blues with some #Americana mixed in. Good solid album.

You can hear why Ry’s Buena Vista Social Club project was such a success. He knows how to make great sounding music.

I bought this album based on the cover. I think it is really funny and light. A bargain for €10.
