@ChrisMayLA6 Frankly, #Labour has been delusional about the EU since it adopted the fantasy that it could finagle some kind of soft Brexit without accepting Freedom of Movement. Essentially it yielded to the bigots on racism back in the Corbyn era, and has never found the moral courage or strategic sense to unthink this.
It was the same magical thinking that had Brexiters claiming that we had all the cards.

It's time we learned humility, or at least embarrassment.
