Once again the Govt (and DWP) are using accusations of benefit fraud to gain access to private information of benefits' recipients;

Proposals are afoot to allow banks to access *all* accounts held by people on benefits to check eligibility claims alongside an enhanced recovery mechanism to bypass courts (making appeals more difficult).

Benefits fraud (incl.DWP overpayment!!!) is approx £8.5bn.

The benefits bill is over £250bn, so fraud actually is not a major problem...

My grandma told me during the cultural revolution, lots of people went hungry. Instead of letting farmers do farming, they sent doctors to the farms for reasons that until today, was hard to understand.

Doctors and other well trained professionals were not allowed to do the things they were good at. So not only did people not have enough food, they died of diseases and didn't have doctors who could help them.

America isn't pretending to take any leaps forward though. It is a naked destruction of the system that has given America it's power and wealth.
