I see three likely reasons for #Trump doing this:
1. He's earnestly supporting Argentina to gain access to fossil fuel rights.
2. He's purposely diverting British military resources from Ukraine and elsewhere to help his reshaping of the world order.
3. He's just personally affronted by Starmer's refusal to bend the knee to him and acting childishly.
3 is most likely, I think. Regardless, puts Farage and Reform in an awkward spot.
