I've shared this #photograph here before but since it is part of my Top 10 of the year I'll show it again. Earlier this year I photographed these #CanadaGoose goslings seeking shelter underneath a parent's wing, but had grown a little too much for the space available!

You know, it's drilled into me at work and at home to never follow links without knowing the source and trusting the source...so I do wonder about the increasingly common habit here of sharing content behind a link...
I guess I'd say most of that content is lost to me, since I am not sure if the links are safe....
Am I alone In this?

Wombat spam.
Wombats have rear facing pouches. So as this mum is walking along eating grass, the little baby Wombat is having a little grassy nibble as well!
Also they have cubic poo, I'll post a picture of that next 😂
That is so trippy...and close to home for me...I'll have to keep an eye out!
Time for something pleasant. (It's Sunday here.)
Bird's nest fungus, Nidula sp., from southern California, Satwiwa trail, Thousand Oaks, 2013. The little "eggs" inside the cup form the spores. Rain splashes them out, which gets them a bit further from the parent shroom before release.
I seem to remember there are lichens that have an analogous system. ?? Anybody here know? Or even have pics??
Yes, sorry for any confusion. My instance provides post editing...at least on the Safari mobile web interface....
Looking forward to more of your photos, have a great weekend!!!!
