Didn't have a lot of options in mind here, but even if I did I reckon my favourite would still be Death as seen on the Discworld. An anthropomorphic personification of the process of dying known for talking in ALL CAPS, he has a noted fondness for humanity and life in general and more than once got in trouble for his tendency to be "on our side". If one must die, it could be far worse than to be met by such a compassionate gatekeeper for the journey to whatever came next. #FavCharacterAtoZ, #FavCharacterD
