This question is a little more nuanced. I'm not asking for examples where the text obviously says they did something wrong or they admit to doing something wrong, but stuff they did that's wrong but we're not supposed to consider that it is, or it's downplayed heavily, barely addressed, addressed much much later after fan outcry/writer change, ignored by fandom as a problem, etc...

Hero doesn't have to mean the main character btw.
