it may look cute but the boeing 787 only does this when distressed
@SecureOwl Do not boop the sleeping jet.
@cR0w hence the no boop cone
@SecureOwl @cR0w I’m sure that’ll buff right out

Over three years ago. Did they not install some warning stickers yet?

@robvliet @SecureOwl

@wonka @robvliet @SecureOwl I'm surprised they don't have any kind of mechanical impingement to prevent this when under load!
@SecureOwl That not only looks cute but also very expensive

@SecureOwl

"The horizon on this plane looking kinda weird today..."

@SecureOwl looks like it could use a drink poor thing
@SecureOwl nono, this is a "play bow"! You should throw a stick or something.

@malwareminigun @SecureOwl My guess: somebody forgot to insert the downlock pin or inserted it in the wrong hole then the same or another somebody operated the undercarriage lever for diagnostic purposes on the assumption that the pin was in.

@realestninja @SecureOwl

Wow - a bunch of ground crew were lucky that day, I imagine new underwear was necessary especially for the guy near the nose gear

Not the only occurrence on the 787 !

(Best stick to Airbus)

@SecureOwl

What you are told: “Ladies and Gentlemen, boarding for Shanghai will be delayed about an hour as we wait for passengers to deplane and maintenance to prepare the plane for your flight.”

@SecureOwl

Boeing is making progress. Their planes are breaking down already before taking off, not killing everybody on board, although this one still tried. Lesson: Don't come too close to any of them. Leave them alone, or they'll become aggressive...

@SecureOwl No it's not its fine. It's just tired. It's pining for the fjords.

@nf3xn @SecureOwl

propably it's already jumping happy around again!

@SecureOwl “TRAVELLING gear! I told you to put away your travelling gear!”
@SecureOwl If a Boeing trips on the ground in the Airport, but nobody is around to listen, does it make a Boeing? #badpuns
@SecureOwl @ShadowJonathan that’s why it’s getting headpats
@SecureOwl In Germany we call this "Tief(f)lieger".

@33dBm @SecureOwl Lucky it didn’t happen when they were landing.
@SecureOwl I thought it fell to the ground to have a temper tantrum.

@SecureOwl

Those engine cowlings looked like the bounce may have got them too...

Expensive boo-boo.

😱

@SecureOwl
You'd expect there to be a lockout stopping retraction if it's under compression.
@SecureOwl
It's dreaming. 787 are notoriously sleepy.

@SecureOwl

"Come on, it was just chasing a squirrel, nothing to see here..."

@SecureOwl The front fell off, it would seem.
@SecureOwl This happened because they ran out of Credits for Copilot Tokens. #NOAIINPLANES
@SecureOwl @rpmik It's better that it did it there than on landing or takeoff.

@SecureOwl Lufthansa? More like Luftired!

@reedmideke @SecureOwl

It's more like Groundhansa. Or Bodenhansa.

@SecureOwl that’s also my nightmare when changing tyres.
@SecureOwl Definitely bad news. Definitely not the worst time to hear it.
@SecureOwl Can't decide between "Boeing's gonna boeing" and "Et tu, Dreamliner?"
@SecureOwl "Now with WALK OFF service! ONLY from BOEING!" From the people that brought you the 737 Bus. If it don't fly, it's us in the sky!
