@GazaJimbo @brennansv @sdw I know that I’m sort of cheating by living in Europe, but…
We’re a family of four and our only car is a Honda e. We’re doing fine with the combination of that and public transportation.
A Cybertruck (autocorrect suggested cyberterrorist) wouldn’t fit in any of the parking spaces here - or indeed most of the streets.
@GazaJimbo One of my friends used to live in Summer Hill and commute to the Sydney CBD by train, another lives in Newcastle. Very different levels of public transport even though it’s the same state. Denmark is mostly fine when it comes to public transport in and between cities.
Our garage was built for the size cars had in Northern Europe in 1956. It was a squeeze back when I drove a Volvo S60. The Cybertruck wouldn’t fit in any dimension.
@sdw Just shared with my boss. He has one for a project car.
Ironically, he also has an Excursion… but he does have 5 kids, so he has a good business case. 🙂
All the charm of a nazi bunker on Normandy Beach
@sdw Ludicrous size aside…it’s pretty telling that I would much rather own the DeLorean…by a *lot*.
Even including the anemic power, questionable build quality, and lack of spare parts for a vintage car it’s not really even close.
One takes you on a journey through time and space once you hit 88 miles per hour.
The other bends, shakes and begins to fall apart at its seams like Titanic hitting an iceberg long before you hit 88 miles per hour.
LOL I don't know specifically about Delorean, but I know that a Toyota Supra from the 80's has hella leg room. No real flexibility needed LOL
@sdw comparing a 2-seated (I know they flew with 3 persons once) Time Machine from the 80s with an actual truck … not that fair …
Compare it with a truck from the 50s or 60s 😜 would be ridiculous enough
Yeah, it actually higher inside than we'd need, I'd happily loose 10cm for a battery
