De Amsterdamse bakker Bert de Jonge is al 37 jaar een zelfstandige warme bakker in de Noorderdwarsstraat, alwaar hij ook woont. Hij brengt het brood in zijn wijk rond met de bakfiets. Zijn bakkerij is gevestigd op Noorderdwarsstraat 11 op de hoek met de Noorderstraat.

Das MySQL kann, wenn man es so fährt wie ein Redis, auch Fragen einigermaßen flott beantworten:

geschrieben und hat eine Query Resolution Time von 125µs (0.125 ms) oder so - 1/8000s.
Stellt sich raus, das war für unsere Zwecke schnell genug.

A license change of this kind is only possible if you never accepted any third party contributions in the first place, or had them all done under a CLA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contributor_License_Agreement), both of which is not very Open Sourcy at all.

Heute gedenken wir dem aussterbenden Beruf des System Administrators, der durch Immutable Images, Infrastructure as Code und Automation untergegangen ist.
Er ist seither durch den Beruf des Infrastructure Developers ersetzt worden.
Talk writeup "Go away, or I will replace you with a very little shell script". A talk I have given initially in german for the GUUG FFG 2015, and later at Froscon. This is the english language writeup. The talk looks at how the systems we work with have changed in the last 10 years, and what other practice-changing pressures were at work, and how that led to the birth of Devops as a practice. But despite Devs and Operations people using the same tools now, their mindset is still differennt – by necessity, and that leads to tension.
