@kevinrns @sdw This is actually really common with pickups these days, they have all shrunk their beds because the pickups are solely for a male status symbol.

Meanwhile I just fit my mountain bike entirely in the back of my 21 Civic Hatchback.

That is not a common anything, that is historic design fail.

That some of its design fails are shared in other junk is just luck.
