@RadicalWoman111 @amberosborne to some extent, yet my ire was more nuanced than this. In part because my angst included my utter frustration with the UK, too, for a myriad of reasons, primarily with the “little Englanders” in a post Brexit world.

I'm still disgusted over Brexit as well. I LOVE the UK. When I was in England and got on the plane to come back to the States, an overwhelming weight settled upon me. It was awful. Dark and depressing.
I felt a connection to the PLACE there I've never felt here, and I've traveled through more than half the states.
Of course, it may have been the sticky toffee pudding? 🤔😁
