Since it's #TombTuesday, I can post a few more pictures of the old cemetery in Freiburg. One of the best known graves is that of Caroline Christine Walter, which has been decorated with fresh flowers almost daily by unknown visitors since 1867.
The Ghost MonkThe gigantic Henblas Dolmen on #Anglesey / Ynys Mon is formed of three colossal blocks of glistening quartz-rich rock. They guarded a modest burial of an urn and a blue glass ring. Nothing quite prepares you for just how enormous these stones are, or how brightly they can catch the sun.

When installed, the angel was bright polished bronze, but within a few years, it had turned black. This has figured into the various supernatural tales surrounding the angel, including stories of evil acts, lightning strikes, infidelity, and murder. Generations of students at University of Iowa have contributed legends about inevitable death from touching the feet of the statue, or even just kissing in front of it.
