@taylorlorenz Maybe smart people will come to you, and maybe smart people, soi disant, are not always where the story is. Part of the point is that the process at Mastodon is supposed to be a little more organic, right? Before asking about who are smart people to follow, maybe a tech columnist could take a little time to suss out how the platform works so as better to understand and explain its nuances.
