After seeing someone from Mass on Reddit say they came to NH to get their covid vax I had to investigate this situation because that sounds BACKWARDS, but they weren’t mistaken. WTF is even happening?? I’ve always considered Massachusetts (and Canada) to be some kind of healthcare utopia compared to New Hampshire. Wtf is this??:

I was excited to see the chain pharmacies doing the buy 1 get 2 free laundry detergent deals again. Before the spring of 2020 I would only buy laundry detergent during those sales so I could get one free and then donate the other free one to the food pantry or the animal shelter.

They stopped in March of 2020 and today I saw Wallgreens had it again. Woot woot, right? Nah lol it’s a let down.

So here’s the thing, back when I used to see us upon the sale it was five dollars for a bottle of laundry detergent. I know it’s not five dollars anymore. But it’s for Arm & Hammer, not Tide, so how bad could it be?

😂😂😂 They want $7.49 for A&H, $3.79 for a slightly larger Tide. So you’re still getting almost a free unit’s worth by paying as much for one A&H that you would two Tides.

I hate that this scam economy has turned me into my mother. For a decade before she died I would tell her to go buy the laundry detergent on sale. I would tell her to check the prices the weeks it’s not on sale. She refused and insisted they raised the prices to do the sales. I insisted they didn’t for this one. Now she is right.

I feel like an old person screaming at the clouds, but the banks are getting really weird lately.

If you follow me I’m sure you’ve seen me rant about #Discover card changing what they will allow people to dispute.

#USAA lowered my credit card limit & didn’t tell me. I wouldn’t be sure of it if I didn’t have an old statement to look at because it’s the same old limit from a few years ago, but they did.

I’m also pretty sure that they used to show the running total under the transaction description and amount, and it’s gone now. This is confusing because I just made a payment, that shows pending, and I can’t tell if the new amount is after the payment or not until after it posts, but I’m pretty sure that was the balance before I made the payment.

And #Wallgreens is a pharmacy not a bank, but I still think it’s shady AF that they took the retail price off the pharmacy print out so I have no idea what my medications cost without insurance until I get my EOB. I like knowing what these medication’s cost. Having this information made me decide that getting 10 mg of sumatriptan is absolutely stupid because six of those cost Medicare $800 when it’s less than $80 for six 5 mg & I can just get two of those instead (even though I pay two copays that way they’re only $4.15 so it’s worth it to not drain #medicare unnecessarily.)

#wallgreens removed the retail price & “your insurance saved you” amount from the receipt on the print out that comes with the prescription.

This is odd. I found one from a prescription I filled November 16 and it’s right there in that little red rectangle under the name of the prescription, the quantity, the refills, and the NDC number.

On the print outs for the prescriptions I filled in December there’s nothing under the NDC number but a blank space in the red box.

THIS IS WEIRD. WHY?? The information is on my EOBs so at least I can look for it there. But I hate this. I like to be able to look at my receipt and assure myself that if Dr. Oz says Medicare can’t pay for this stuff that I could pay for it.

I’m not gonna call the pharmacy to ask them because they are too busy as it is, but I hope I remember this next time I pick something up there.

If someone approaches you in the aisles of a Wallgreens claiming they want to enroll you in a covid vaccine trial they’re probably not scammers, but I fear for their safety. The antivaxxers don’t always wear red hats.

So apparently the "digital freezer displays" in places like #Wallgreens don‘t fully conform to inventory.

Hypothesis: that may be intentional. Yet another little stumbling stone between you and what you actually want to buy, to get your eyes to roam elsewhere and consider buying that other thing too. Stores design 101, right? That‘s well documented, that stores aren‘t made for efficient traversal.

#CVS cancelled my #COVID19 vaccination appointment again. 2 hours ahead of it. What the hell is going on with them, I'm seeing all sorts of other reports of this?

Was able to book a #Wallgreens appointment same day though now (they didn't have it before) so we'll see...

I know everyone was mad at #Wallgreens because of the abortion pill thing, but right around the time that was happening I had to leave Rite Aid because they refused to open the drive-through most days.

And I just need to tell you how wonderful the wallgreens is near me. They special order specific brands for me because I have a really sensitive stomach and I’ve had problems with the oxycodone with the abuse deterrent in the brand that’s being sold by them. And it’s been a rough couple months because there is also a shortage of oxycodone so they’ve had to take what they could get, but they did a little extra work and pulled it together for me. ❤️❤️

These wonderful people special ordered something I can take AND when one of my boxes of covid tests didn’t actually contain the test part they exchanged it no problem.
