Maggie MaybeI was excited to see the chain pharmacies doing the buy 1 get 2 free laundry detergent deals again. Before the spring of 2020 I would only buy laundry detergent during those sales so I could get one free and then donate the other free one to the food pantry or the animal shelter.
They stopped in March of 2020 and today I saw Wallgreens had it again. Woot woot, right? Nah lol it’s a let down.
So here’s the thing, back when I used to see us upon the sale it was five dollars for a bottle of laundry detergent. I know it’s not five dollars anymore. But it’s for Arm & Hammer, not Tide, so how bad could it be?
😂😂😂 They want $7.49 for A&H, $3.79 for a slightly larger Tide. So you’re still getting almost a free unit’s worth by paying as much for one A&H that you would two Tides.
I hate that this scam economy has turned me into my mother. For a decade before she died I would tell her to go buy the laundry detergent on sale. I would tell her to check the prices the weeks it’s not on sale. She refused and insisted they raised the prices to do the sales. I insisted they didn’t for this one. Now she is right.
