Eye drops sold at Walgreens, CVS recalled over safety concerns, FDA says

A pharmaceutical company has issued a voluntary recall of over 3 million of its over-the-counter eye-drop products after the Food and Drug Administration cited a “lack of assurance of sterility.” According to the FDA notice, K.C. I didn't realize until I checked scheduling for my latest COVID vaccine that the recommendation had been reduced from 4 to 2 months between vaccinations for people over 65 here in the U.S.

Anyway, number 12 done this morning.

The great thing about going down to #CVS to get my #COVID shot isn't that because I'm seriously old, they text and remind me it's been six months. No, the great thing is when the guy administering the shot happens to be the pharmacy manager and so when he asks if there's anything else he can do for me, I can tell him to send a message to little Bobby telling him to get the fuck out of the way and let the scientists get back to doing science.

So now you can't even navigate phone tree at my #CVS to refill prescription without *speaking* to the damn thing. I do not want to speak to it, just let me press buttons.

Seems someone who *can't* speak is back to being shit outta luck.

Fortunately I have the option to go physically to the store and hand them my bottle. I shall waste their time in person!
