#NOAA / #NWS is popping out the alerts today. Across my main notification zone (Topeka #KS to Columbia #MO to Joplin MO) they're sending severe #t-storm warnings. There are a couple of tornado watches (as in watch in case one happens) and some flood warnings also.

Wow. There are around 200 #NOAA / #NWS alerts from the past 36 hours sitting unopened in my inbox. That's because I left the #t-storm and #flooding warnings unopened and only looked directly at #tornado warnings.

And now #Imperial county !SoCal joins in. Severe #t-storm near Bombay Beach and Brawley, moving North at 30MPH. I think this storminess is just remnants of former #hurricane #Rosa.

Lots of severe #t-storm and #tornado activity in SE #KS, #SW #MO tonight. #NOAA / #NWS are dinging my phone frequently. Areas near Joplin, Nevada, Pittsburg, Ft Scott under warnings. Storm moving toward Springfield.
