When rain and sun collide beautifully… This was during my commute home from work, along I-680 around Pleasanton and Sunol, CA. Leftover rain showers were observed all day this day as a low pressure area slowly drifts thru and over the Bay Area, with some remaining instability for shower development (not strong enough for t-storm development unfortunately). Anyway, happy Earth Day! (April 22, 2026)
A very isolated heavy shower seen down I-680. Storms were still imminent in parts of the state this day. Talk about a very active April, weather-wise! Footage taken from around Pleasanton, CA during me and my mom's commute home from work. (Footage taken Tuesday, April 21, 2026)
Witnessing a breezy day in San Jose, CA. Despite the gloomy weather, my garden appears to be in full bloom and flourishing. We've been getting interesting weather as of late for the state... Bring on more storms! My garden would appreciate more moisture and humidity lol. (Sunday, April 12, 2026)
Enjoying some overnight weather action right at home in San Jose, CA, in the form of some lightning and thunder. Gotta love this weather! Thunderstorm activity had been occurring throughout the state the past few days already. Certainly, they predicted interesting weather like this for us and tonight, we finally got our share of some lightning! (Video footage taken Sunday after midnight, April 12, 2026)
A rainy commute to and from work along I-680. Don't worry, my mom was the one driving lol. A low pressure area was drifting thru the state this day, ushering in a very unstable airmass aloft, triggering thunderstorm development everywhere, including here in the Bay Area (although the bulk of the action occurred north and east over the Central Valley). We were forecast to get interesting weather like this for the region and state the next couple days or so... (Friday, April 10, 2026)
While hanging out with the cuzz, we saw these guys on horses outside a restaurant along Tully Rd in San Jose, CA. Looks like they were prepping for a show or something? Me wanna ride too! (Sunday evening, March 8, 2026)
While I was cleaning my car, I looked up and saw this: A SpaceX rocket launch to our south! Talk about perfect timing! SpaceX plans to launch another batch of its Starlink internet satellites into low-earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Monday, April 6, 2026. Three rocket launches were scheduled for this upcoming week from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base. Footage taken from my place in San Jose, CA. (4-6-2026)
Wow, my doorbell camera caught a mini shake from this morning’s quake! The 4.6 mag quake occurred near Boulder Creek. The USGS reported it in the region at 1:41 a.m. The epicenter was roughly 1 mile east-southeast of Boulder Creek, CA. (4-2-2026)
#earthquake #CaliforniaEarthquake #SanJose #BayAreaA rainy, hazardous morning commute to work. Don't worry, my mom was the one driving so I was able to take footage here lol. Skies darkened as we headed north on the 680 and rain finally starts falling as soon as we approached Pleasanton, CA. We arrived to work safely. It's actually nice to see this weather pattern since we had a lull in the rain and we need all the rain and snow we could get during the heart of our rainy season around this time... (Footage taken Tuesday, February 17, 2026)
Gusty winds in the city as a storm system pushes thru the region overnight and into the following day. Southerly winds with spotty showers were observed during the duration of this storm system. It's actually nice to get back into this unsettled weather pattern after a dry lull. After all, we need all the rain and snow we can get since this is still in the heart of our rainy season... Footage taken from my place in San Jose, CA and around Milpitas, CA (following morning). (Feb 10-11, 2026)
