Onze 3 gezamenlijke eisen zijn helder:
ING: stop met ons geld steken in bedrijven die nog nieuwe olie- en gasprojecten starten en die betrokken zijn bij mensenrechtenschendingen, en halveer je uitstoot in lijn met het Parijsakkoord.

1. Stop nieuwe olie- en gasprojecten
Onze eerste eis is dat ING stopt met geld steken in bedrijven die nog nieuwe olie- en gasprojecten starten. Op dit moment heeft ING namelijk nog meer dan 30 miljard(!) euro bij olie- en gasbedrijven uitstaan, waarvan de meeste nog nieuwe fossiele projecten starten. Maar de wetenschap is al jaren helder: we moeten én kunnen het meeste fossiel in de grond laten.

2. Halveer de uitstoot in 2030
Onze tweede eis is dat ING handelt volgens de afspraken in het Klimaatakkoord van Parijs, en zijn uitstoot dus minstens halveert in 2030 en daarna blijft verminderen, in lijn met de wetenschap. Want wij doen ons deel. We fietsen vaker, kopen minder, delen meer. Dan mag ING niet achterblijven. Door miljarden te steken in vervuilende projecten, en daardoor ieder jaar net zoveel uit te stoten als anderhalf keer heel Nederland bij elkáár, maakt de bank het probleem op dit moment alleen maar groter.

3. Geen geld naar mensenrechtenschendingen
Onze derde eis is dat ING stopt met het financieren van bedrijven die betrokken zijn bij mensenrechtenschendingen. Ons geld mag nooit bijdragen aan onderdrukking, vernietiging of onrecht. Toch financiert ING nog bedrijven als Caterpillar, dat bulldozers levert voor sloopwerk in Gaza, en Glencore, die eraan bijdraagt dat elk jaar 6.500 mensen in Indonesië vroegtijdig overlijden door kolencentrales.

Verbeter de wereld, begin bij je bankrekening: Niet met ons geld
Onze Klimaatzaak tegen ING zetten we natuurlijk gewoon voort in de rechtbank, maar jij kan nú iets doen.
Want: als ING over 1 jaar niet aan onze eisen voldoet, stappen we massaal over. Verbeter de wereld, begin bij je bankrekening!
Time’s up. Aan ING de keuze: Koers veranderen, of klanten verliezen?

By investing billions in polluting projects, and thereby emitting as much every year as one and a half times the whole of the Netherlands at each time, the bank is currently only making the problem worse.
3. No money for human rights violations. Our third requirement is that ING stop financing companies involved in human rights violations. Our money should never contribute to oppression, destruction or injustice. Nevertheless, ING still finances companies such as Caterpillar, which supplies bulldozers for demolition work in Gaza, and Glencore, which contributes to the premature death of 6,500 people in Indonesia by coal-fired power stations every year.
Improve the world, start at your bank account: Not with our money. We will of course continue our Climate Case against ING in court, but you can do something now ..
