Hey brains trust, I am facilitating some #ShutUpAndWrite sessions at #MPIC for the next 6 weeks. We are doing 2 hour sessions. I'm planning ten minutes of 'intention setting', 50 minutes of work, then a 10 minute break to chat, then 50 minutes work.

Any suggestions welcome. I've done pomodoros in the past, but found a lot of the group wouldwork through the five minute break.

We had a great "let's grab coffee and write blog posts" session with a friend today, I've missed these.

I love to write together, separately. Sitting in the same space, both writing our own blog posts and then every now and then discussing stuff.

Preserve & increase beauty...May 8, 2023

#AmWriting Some writing friends periodically arrange to meet in a cafe for what we call #ShutUpAndWrite. I usually can't join because they meet when I need to be working/at work. But yesterday three of us met. My plan was to transcribe several days of morning page inspiration but I brought the wrong notebook (work & morning page notebooks are both yellow right now). That said, I managed to bash out 1000 words of the same story with a some description & a couple of characters. #GoMe
