May I recommend to you that you join a #writinggroup. Having other writers around you once a week to write to a prompt and share (if you want), is really good for the soul.
Check your local public library, they may well host in-person or virtual writing groups. Just another nice thing that many libraries do

My writing group gave me great feedback, and I'm glad we have built trust so that we can give and receive in-depth praise and criticism. It means that I know they really like my work, and are trying to improve it.
But... I really thought I wouldn't have to edit this story much more. And now maybe I will. Sigh...

I think the idea of writing groups is a good one, and I'd like to set up one myself. However, I have enough other interests for which I already have too little time. So I make do with the hashtag games and the resulting communications on various writing topics.
