Idaho Northern and Pacific Railroad (INPR) 2074 was switching in the Union Pacific yard in La Grande, OR, on Monday, June 11, 2007.
INPR 2074 was an EMD/ATSF GP7u. Reportedly: built as ATSF 2650 Class GP7 2876 in 1953 Builder Number 188931952. Rebuilt as GP7u ATSF 2074 in 1974, retired in 1991, in 1996 sold to INPR. Subsequently sold to Rainer Rail (CWW). Reporting marks and numbers reported for this locomotive include: ATSF 2560, ATSF 2074, INPR 2074, CWW 2074.

Webb Asset Management (WAMX) 4021 was working on the Eastern Idaho Railroad (EIRR) on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho. WAMX reportedly is a part of WATCO Holdings and the EIRR reportedly is a subsidiary of WATCO.
WAMX is an EMD GP40-2LW. Reportedly it was built in 1975 as CN 9631.

On the Toledo District of the Portland and Western (PNWR), 2307 is at Ashahr, OR, near Corvallis, with GP40 PNWR 3004. The train set out all of its cars before proceeding light to Albany, OR on Friday, March 14, 2019.
PNWR 2307 "Independence" is an EMD GP39-2. Reportedly built as ATSF 3606 serial number 74602-7 in 1974. It became ATSF 3106 then PNWR 2307.

Ex-SP GP9 in North Carolina
On Saturday, October 1, 2022, a former Southern Pacific (SP) GP9, the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad (GSMR) 1751, ran around the Tuckasegee River Excursion train in Dillsboro, NC.
GSMR 1751 is an EMD GP9. Reportedly: it was built by EMD in 1955 as T&NO 420, SP Class DF-604, builders number 19968. In the 1965 renumbering it became SP 3432, SP Class EF418-4. It was upgraded in 1970 becoming SP 3312, SP Class EF418E-1. It was retired in 1986 and sold in 1987.
Other reporting marks and numbers reportedly associated with this locomotive include: Kyle 1751, AEZR 1751, becoming 1755, SJVR 1751.

Black Widow in Lebanon
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, Black Widow painted Albany and Eastern Railroad Company's (AERC) Lavacot Locomotive Works (LLW) 5399 is in Lebanon, OR.
LLW 5399 is an EMD SD9E. Reportedly it was built in 1955 as SP 5399, SP Class DF-122, serial 19940. In 1965 it became SP 3877, SP Class EF618-3. It was rebuilt in 1973 becoming SP 4364, SD9E SP Class EF618E-1. SP retired it in 1991. It was sold to LLW 4364 becoming 5399.
