This is from a couple years ago - he's in college now - kidding; I presented it w/ a toy taxicab car. It's his taxicab dispatcher sweater vest, complete w/ a set of stackable yellow & black buttons, to play checkers on the back!

Back piece done and blocked to check measurements. I have history with struggling to get a good size with ribbed patterns. Too much stretch that relaxes over time, too much second guessing myself. First block gives a reasonable size. Fingers crossed.

Tea cozy continues. Didn't like my first attempt at patterning so ripped out a couple rows and did them over. I was given these reds and golds by a kind knitting friend. Trying to determine if I have enough to make a vest. Each time I start a stranded knitting piece I am reminded how much I love it. Really, why do I do anything else? Maybe it's time to specialize.
