Two sleeves! The angle is a little weird, but both cuffs are the same, trust me.

I've been wanting to make an Alpine Bloom hat for a while. I like how it turned out! There may be more in the offing. #knit #knitting #crafts
Remember: you don’t need all those fancy stitches to make something beautiful 🌺
Beauty often lies in simplicity 🧶
So here’s a simple #knit stitch for the weekend 🌻
Last year I knitted this shaped summer top - now I finally finished to write a blog post explaining how to #knit something similar. It is available here: https://knitting-and-so-on.blogspot.com/2026/05/motifs-in-context.html
The piece uses my Hana Coasters pattern on the side panels:

Reste le grafting de la pointe à faire et... la deuxieme.
Cette chaussette est étonnante. Je la trouve d'une forme franchement moche quand elle n’est pas sur le pied... mais la magie s'opère quand on la porte. Quel confort !

I know how to do a basic #crochet stitch, but I've decided to mess around and try and make a head scarf. I watched the first 4 rows done on a video, and I'm just going to give it a go and find out what happens!

I typically loom #knit, and my grandmother taught me how to make granny squares when I was still tugging on her apron strings, so I'm not completely going in with 0 knowledge.

I taught myself to loom knit. Watched a video and decided I already knew how but my husband had no faith so I made him take me to the store to buy some yarn and looms (and knitting needles because I insisted I could do that too) and came home and made a hat on the loom. Ahhh, the arrogance of youth. 😆

(I also was able to use the needles, but even in my prime, they hurt my hands. It's my only concern with crocheting.)
