Weird sleeping pattern

If you can call it a pattern... 🤔 Sleeping with AuDHD can be a challenge for sure. Ever since I've been taking a low dosage of Risperodon, and some supplements, it's been a bit better. There were still moments where my brain just never switched to that "low enough to be able to doze off" setting, but with the meds and the supplements, those moments were less occurring. Which I was glad about. 😊 Often, when it had been a normal day, where my plans were solid, and where my routine was 💯 all perfect... It wasn't too hard to fall asleep. But now, since Koa came into my life, my sleep has been weird. I either can't sleep, or I finally doze off, and Koa needs a potty break, or I sleep so much that it even amazes me (although not in one go, both Koa and I can't handle that! 😂). But the moments where my switch won't go to the "lemme sleep dammit" setting, it annoys me, because I now have the care of Koa, so I can't just adjust my own ways the way I want... I need to do things the way he needs me to... […]

Doing it on my own…

...and it's hard, but I think it's going well... As I mentioned in previous posts, I have raised two choccy Labs (both girls), before I got my little dude Koa. But, when we had Chance, my first choccy gall, I had two partners, and we divided the chores, or we did them together. It made the "load" a lot lighter, and easier to handle. When we got Arwen, my second choccy gall, it was my then fiancée and me. So we could also divide the chores, and do things together. And now, it's just me. Me and my first dude, an alpha personality at that. My health is not as good as it was 13 years ago. I knew what I was "signing up" for, it wasn't my first rodeo, as they say. But, I guess I didn't realize how it would be a lot harder, doing it on my own. But! I am not complaining. This is all part of our journey together, and by providing Koa with the best start of that journey now, I do hope that the base will be strong and solid for the (hopefully) many years to come. 🐾❤️ […]

#ARCS Distributes AFN 61.5 Million to 4,100 Displaced Families in #Kunar

The ARCS, with support from the #ICRC, distributed cash assistance totaling AFN 61.5 million to 4,100 internally displaced families in Narai and Sarkano districts of Kunar Province. Each family received AFN 15,000 to meet their basic needs.

The #distribution ceremony was attended by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Ahmad Noor Hanif and Mawlawi Mohammad Usman Baloch, advisors to ARCS; Mawlawi Qamar Gul Nasrat, Director of the Eastern Zone; and Mawlawi Abdul Latif Sabit, Head of the Kunar Provincial Branch.

Speaking at the #event, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Ahmad Noor Hanif said that supporting and assisting people displaced by disasters is one of the core #responsibilities of ARCS. He added that, within the framework of its #humanitarian_activities, ARCS will continue to provide assistance to affected families in cooperation with national and international #partner_organizations.

He described the assistance as an important means of meeting the basic needs of displaced families in these difficult circumstances and expressed confidence that similar support will be extended to other provinces in the future.

Meanwhile, Mawlawi Qamar Gul Nasrat stated that a #transparent_survey had been conducted to identify eligible families, and that cash assistance is now being distributed according to a defined mechanism. He emphasized that efforts have been made to ensure the #aid reaches those most in need.

Listen #Indians! If you can't see the implications of such obvious threats and don't assert your #rights, you don't deserve the #freedoms and #privileges you enjoy. Those come with certain #duties and #responsibilities, without which they won't survive. The only question is if you'll learn that before or after you lose them.
