I sometimes get asked about how robust the security is for the #GitGuardian self-hosted option. This blog post is a nice look into that subject from our partners at #Replicated

How GitGuardian Partnered with Replicated to Release Self-Hosted

Replicated offers a variety of features that make it easier for teams of any size to distribute self-hosted software. Philippe Gablain, Engineering Lead at GitGuardian, described in his blog, Small Team, Big Wins: Why Size Doesn’t Matter for Self-Hosted, how they structure their organization and product to deliver a great self-hosted option for their customers. Learn how GitGuardian is able to do this by working with Replicated's many features.

I'm a big fan of what we're doing here at #replicated. I recorded a video showing how you can get started in as little as 5 minutes. #onprem #customermanaged #kubernetes #helm

@trick #Wikipedia seems like the kind of website that would be great to have #replicated across the #internet. Like, everyone has a small piece of it stored on their device and a lot of people share some of the same pieces, just in case. Every time you connect to the internet, your device checks to see if your piece has been update in the official, centralized system. If an update is required and your device's MAC address mod 12 is this month (zero-indexed), it updates. This type of #distributed system allows for rolling updates, preserving some history in the event of an attack on the central system.

No Effect of Realistic Microplastic Exposure on Growth and Development of Wild-caught Culex (Diptera: Culicidae) Mosquitoes

Abstract. Microplastic (MP) pollution is a threat to environments around the world and mosquitoes are particularly affected because of their high chance of enco

Can #Tokyo’s charms be #replicated elsewhere? | The Economist

The real Tokyo, as any #denizen of the world’s most #populous #metropolis knows, is found in the smallest of #spaces. #Japan’s #capital is not a #city of grand #arterial #boulevards. Its lifeblood flows instead through tangles of narrow #alleys, up the #stairs of slim #buildings and into tiny #shops and cramped #eateries.
