I have a Framework 13 Laptop with Ubuntu 24.04.4 for years without issue. The Laptop has a NVMe drive and I set it up with a full encryption with LUKS and LVM, just using the default options for this

Done!! Now I can convert a standard #openbsd system into a one with #readonly #filesystem , #carp setup, #ssh access only via #jail / #chroot ... just to run few scripts, reboot .. mission accomplished.

@magnetic_tape @lazygamereviews I mean, in theory one could make #ReadOnly #SSD|s by having the controller disregard any writes but I don't know any such configuration in the wild beyond datarecovery setups.
