🇫🇷 Souvenirs d'une journée de #trainspotting il y a près de vingt ans à Beetebuerg (Bettembourg) et à Näerzeng (Noertzange) sur la ligne Lëtzebuerg (Luxembourg) - Esch-Uelzecht (Esch-sur-Alzette) - Peteng (Pétange).
Et en cadeau, une leçon de luxembourgeois. 😉
1. Une automotrice Z 2N NG de la SNCF sur un service TER Metrolor en route vers Thionville et Metz (ou Nancy) traverse la gare de Bettembourg.
2. A cette époque, les locomotives diesel GM série 18 (identiques aux HLD 55 de la SNCB/NMBS) assuraient encore de nombreux trains de marchandises. Ici, l'un d'eux au passage à Noertzange.
3. Toujours à Noertzange, une locomotive série 3000 des CFL (identiques aux HLE 13 de la SNCB/NMBS) également en tête d'un train de marchandises. Les 3000 ont disparu en début d'année de la scène ferroviaire et un voyage d'adieu est proposé le 23 juin prochain (Fête nationale).
4. Autre matériel qui a été retiré du service et a entamé une nouvelle carrière en Roumanie, les Z 2000 (quasi identiques aux Z 11500 de la SNCF) dont deux exemplaire ici assurent un train vers Athus en Belgique.

🇬🇧 A few photos of a day #trainspotting almost twenty years ago in Beetebuerg (Bettembourg) and Näerzeng (Noertzange) on the Lëtzebuerg (Luxembourg) - Esch-Uelzecht (Esch-sur-Alzette) - Peteng (Pétange) railway line.
And as a gift, a lesson of Luxembourgish. 😉
1. A SNCF Z 2N NG EMU operating a TER Metrolor service en route to Thionville and Metz (or Nancy) passing without stopping Bettembourg station.
2. At that time, The "GM" Class 18 diesel locomotives (identical to SNCB/NMBS HLD 55) still operated many freight trains. Here, one of them passing through Noertzange.
3. Also in Noertzange, a CFL Class 3000 electric locomotive (identical to SNCB/NMBS HLE 13) also at the head of a freight train. The Class 3000 disappeared from the railway scene at the start of the year and a farewell trip is proposed on June 23 (National Day).
4. Other equipment which was withdrawn from service and began a new career in Romania, the Z 2000 EMUs (almost identical to the SNCF Z 11500), with here two units forming a train to Athus in Belgium.
