Mr. JackOne of my many constant thoughts about where I want to go with my life is how selfish I will look in outward perception.
Not being married. Having multiple casual partners. Not wanting children. Having maybe at best a few dogs or cats. Not being in contact with my family. Having more than one closet for myself.
And then I think about where I’ve seen that life portrayed in popular culture. It’s the outward perception of the Tab Hunters and Jim Nabors of history.
Sometimes I forget I’m trans. As in I’m not a naturally born man or amab or whatever. I was born intersex so I’ve never been too clear on my sex.
But I do have my period, sometimes, and I often forget that I have a period to worry about.
Up until I feel like death for a few days and the moment I start to bleed through my boxer shorts.
Then I’m reminded of all that I am. Trans. Queer. Disabled. Smart. Bitchy.
