A bit late in posting but ... Qt Creator 17.0.0 is released for Haiku, both 64bit and 32bit are released, for 32bit there seems to be an issue (which never got reported yet?) that seem to trigger a OOM on libLLVM.so.18.1 (20.1 does the same when I checked that first).

Anyway, also found out that one could use the Designer plugin, so ... Enjoy! :)

Playing around with Qt, updated locally to 6.9.1 and build QtCreator 17.0.0~rc1 with that, then update Kate's source and build/luanch it from within QtCreator.

A couple of days ago a new release 6.14 of KDE Frameworks came out and part of it is the syntax highlighting engine, used not only by KDE applications like Kate and KDevelop; but also by some others like Qt Creator.

I'm happy to report that this version also brings support for RISC-V instructions/registers/… in GNU Assembler, that I contributed:
