Qt Designer integration in CLion may not match Qt Creator - but with a few tweaks, it can be significantly improved.

Jesper Pedersen demonstrates how to open the corresponding .ui file directly from a .cpp using an External Tool, along with a shortcut adjustment for more #QtCreator–like window handling.

CLion + Qt Designer: Open .ui Files from Your C++ Code

Making #QtCreator happy on #Windows is damn pain. Somehow I've managed to install all the required #VisualStudio components on my old laptop but something is now missing so the damn thing can't find a debugger, cdb.exe ?
And they say #linux is hard, hah, right. "apt install gdb" yeah, very hard.

Adopting a new IDE often means rethinking workflows and rebuilding muscle memory.

Episode 1 of this new series examines using CLion (by JetBrains) for Qt development, covering project setup, familiar keymaps, UI creation, and early impressions of debugging and version control.

FosseryWeb project report:
I regenerated the CSS cheatsheets with the new page-builders tool, to improve the consistency of the cheatsheets and discover some more cases which weren't handled yet in page-builders (e.g. unordered list conversion, link pointing to another cheatsheet, comma in cheatsheet title, etc.), and I also corrected a few mistakes in the cheatsheets which somehow I didn't notice earlier (e.g. a section missing from the online and Markdown version of the CSS Selectors Cheatsheet, but included in the ODT version). And also, I removed the heading hooks from the Markdown versions, because they aren't supported by all programs (e.g. Joplin just displays them as plain text), and replaced the color gradient divs with image files in the online version of the CSS Backgrounds Cheatsheet, so now they can be displayed correctly in Pale Moon and Seamonkey browsers.

@grumpygamer #QtCreator is also quite usable (also for non-Qt development) and not that resource-hungry.

Not yet updated or released, KDevelop using python plugin to create a small app with Qt/Python, open this in QtCreator and check with KUIViewer, pretty good :D

#Qt QtCreator keeps crashing after waking from suspend.

I tracked it to `Debugger` extension. When I disabled `Debugger` extension and it's dependent `CMakeProjectManager`, the crash went away.

Does anyone know why this happens?

I'm on Manjaro up-to-date (stable branch ). Willing to provide more info and test things.
This is very annoying.
