And please to note the #fda does not regulate the state-licensed practice of mental health care as practiced by millions of masters level, doctoral level and physician level clinicians currently around the world. Psychedelics assist the psychotherapy, the standardized, evidence-based psychotherapy is CBT. Future #psychedelicresearch and #Psychedelictherapists are currently available, and need ongoing continuing education in #psychedelicmedicines and #psychedelicassistedpsychotherapy

#psychedelictherapists are not here to gatekeep, but people who choose to practice psychedelic medicine for their mental health and well-being should have the choice to work with people specifically called, trained, and experienced in these medicines. And those specialists should be paid and supported in their calling, just like any other worker.
