@preya You might want to look at #Psono (https://psono.com). It has SAML/OIDC support in the enterprise version, which is free for up to 10 users.

@keepassxc In my dayjob, we're also using #Psono, which like Bitwarden is open-core and sort of a #LastPass clone. Of course, we're also using #Hashicorp Vault, too, but who isn't?

That said, if you just need something for yourself and aren't looking to regularly share individual credentials, it's really hard to beat #KeePassXC for the versatility, compatibility, granularity, and incredible feature set.

LastPass' warning about code leaks was a wake-up call regarding outsourced online services.
I was opting for offline services, which could mean different credentials for individual devices, but fortunately came across Psono and its self-hosted services. It looked kinda cool and since I have some space on my server I chose to install it and it's very nice.

It's not as rough looking as I was expecting and is very good functionality-wise. Plus it has extensions, mobile apps for iOS/Android AND was built using Django, which is my main framework. For comparison, LastPass has mobile apps but behind a paywall. I actually have _more_ free features than proprietary software.

Next step is setting up daily backups to my local rPi. After that I feel confident enough to close my LastPass account

@yisraeldov @JoelM also consider the case where someone uses Tor or a VPN to access a service anonymously, but they access the Psono db directly. #CloudFlare has enough info to deanonymize users in those cases. And as we know, CloudFlare will doxx people: https://git.disroot.org/cyberMonk/liberethos_paradigm/src/branch/master/rap_sheets/cloudflare.md I highly suggest avoiding #Psono.

@yisraeldov @JoelM I see a security problem with #Psono: passwords are stored in the cloud on an #Amazon AWS server & all transactions go through #CloudFlare. CF already sees your passwords in the clear for CF websites you login into. Psono gives CF the extra visibility of seeing you fetch your encrypted p/w. So if you have multiple accts for one CF or AMZN site, CF & AMZN can see that association.
@yisraeldov @JoelM #Psono is a non-starter b/c it's too jailed to even evaluate. And even if the code is good, you'd do a disservice to push other people into those walled gardens.
@yisraeldov @JoelM #Psono is jailed in a walled garden. The proof is as simple as running "torsocks git clone https://gitlab.com/psono/psono-app" or "torsocks firefox https://gitlab.com/psono/psono-app". Walled gardens are not restricted by license, so it does you no good to look at that. Walled gardens are restricted technologically, by access restrictions.
