Ganz nah dran – Schnepfenfliege
Eine Schnepfenfliege kam mir heute vor diese Linse. Dies Insektenfamilie umfasst weltweit rund 800 Arten, in Deutschland sind ungefähr 40 Arten bekannt. Auf dem Bild ist die Gemeine Schnepfenfliege zu sehen, die am häufigsten vorkommende Art.

A Goose of two Worlds

When I saw this goose I just assume they were just a differently colored Canadian Goose, but I googled and found it is in fact a hybrid of a Domestic Goose and a Canadian Goose.
