Since our earliest blueberry varieties are getting ripe, it is time to put the netting on top of the blueberry cage. Towhees have already started biting into a few, although their overall impact is relatively low. The netting needs to go up before more ripen and the cedar waxwing flocks move in.
The netting to fit over the entire three rows is in 2 pieces, which makes installation trickier. We've discussed sewing the 2 sides together in the future.
