花見ラン！

午後遅くなってから、母の施設に果物とお菓子を届けに出かける。母は元気にしていた。施設のスタッフに盗られる（母の妄想だけど）からと、私の差し入れの詳細をいつもメモするのだが、今日はうまく字が書けない様子。もうすぐ95歳、認知症の進行で、文字を書くことが難しくなってきたのかもしれない。

帰り道は遠回りして、満開のさくらを楽しんだ。サイクリングロード沿いの桜のトンネルは、伐採されて寂しくなってしまったが、それでもまだたくさんに人でにぎわっていた。

ランニングは、最初から最後まで超ゆったりペースで、合計16.4キロ。疲れは感じなかった。帰宅前に生協に寄って、値引きになっていた鯛の刺身を調達。夕食で食べた。

ポッドキャストは、Google のYouTube部門CEO、インド系のNeal Mohan氏のインタビューが面白かった。METAとGoogleが子供の保護が不十分だと、加州の訴訟で負けたばかり。インタビューする側が丁寧に攻めていたが、Google側が守勢一方のなのは明確。

Cherry Blossom Run !

My favorite time of year, cherry blossom!

Visited my mother at her nursing home late afternoon. Delivered fresh fruits and snacks and saw and chatted with her in her room. She was good.

Ran to the north and entered the bike path from the Koken Bridge. Went south on the cycling road and enjoyed the blooming cherry trees on my way home. Ran 10 miles (16 km +) total.

Ran extremely slow and comfortable pace.
