The #FossilFuel folks are terrified by the increasing efficiency of #GreenEnergy. They have significant investments in underground assets that are yet to be exploited. The challenge is to keep those assets just where they are.
These #petrogarchs seem to believe they are exempt from the consequences of their rapacious greed and they have an alternative to planetary collapse
When you encounter folks who believe #fossilfuels cannot be replaced, #Portugal is proving what is possible.
Despite what the #petrogarchy would have us believe, #CleanEnergy is not only cost effective but has the potential to provide electricity cheaper than dirty alternatives

#Elon’s bigotry is certainly pulling the #Tesla brand into the mud. For a company that was once favored by liberals concerned about #ClimateChange, it is now tainted. Alienating one’s best customer base isn’t exactly smart business
#Trump types will do little to support the #ElectricVehicles business as they’re too deeply invested in supporting the #petrogarchy and #RollingCoal.
The basic plan for the #Carbonarchy is to continue to extract and sell as much as they can from the ground over the next couple of decades. Fear over stranded assets is what drives the officers of these companies
The current ethically compromised #FossilFuels hierarchy are bent on harvesting wealth from their #ClimateCrisis producing companies.
Since they have sold their souls, they will propagandize to secure wealth. The forces of inertia are strong!

The internal combustion engine is clearly on the downslope and while I’d suggest the #cars make little sense in dense urban environments, they’ll continue to be essential in rural and suburban locations.
#Battery powered vehicles are the future and no amount of marketing and disinformation from the #petrogarchy will halt this economic shift

Despite my abhorrence of #Musk, #Tesla has proven that the internal combustion engine is now a technology that belongs in the past.
Tesla dragged the rest of the #automobile industry into the 21st century. Without Tesla’s success, we’d be less further along the curve of replacing petroleum as the primary energy for transportation
