I agree. Contexts vary - and it is not always appropriate to extrapolate from experience in the #us . In late July and much of August the #police in #england were in the front line against #farright attacks on #asylumseekers, #mosques and both #personsofcolour and immigrants from #europe . They took nearly three hundred casualties in the process. They have since been accused of 'two tier policing' by #right wing commentators. It would be churlish not to recognise this.
