even now that it’s a de facto Nazi website owned by a deranged fascist illegally looting the country, they still fucking tweet more than they even use flashalerts.

They should at least be regularly using flashalerts, but even better would be the city making a dedicated mastodon server for its departments & offices. Easy, open source, has rss feeds, etc etc

It really sucks that @pdxfire is still using Twitter to post important updates. Until they decide to use a different (preferably FOSS) service that hasn't been converted into a de facto Nazi webforum, you can use nitter to get an RSS feed.
