PBS hosts "Civics Nations" a contest where American high schools compete to who best knows the trivia of American civics.

I am a critic of this system.

The trivia does little to convince future blue-collar workers that American democracy is working for them.

As far as a mode of #governance for #thriving #human society, it is like all #solutions, #simple. Those aren't positions of power. That's a mistake. Those are service positions you must train for. We start with #civics in schools again. If you want to represent people you have to go way deeper.
