As much as I love my digital notes systems, I've realised that one of the reasons I keep coming back to physical notes organising is that my notebook is a form of 'mind palace', that is, having the information connected with physical space in a way I can continually revisit, is possibly the reason why physical notes feel so much easier to comprehend and connect in my head.

Do any of you find physical knowledge storage easier or make use of physical memory aids?

I am wondering how i can modify my system to actually make use of this feature as it was certainly not intentional

Hey #papernotebooks users, I'm considering getting some Field Notes Expedition notebooks but heard they are finicky with what pens will work effectively on them. I've mainly used micron 02 (I think) on my non-waterproof Field Notes and like fine tip but don't know how they'd work on an Expedition. I've heard Sharpies are a good alternative?
