NebelzentraleYesterday, a colleague sent me a paper. Topic: Gap filling methods. Application: Daily precipitation time series in Oman. A fusion model promised an extreme quality boost compared to any single model. Since gap filling and time series extension of meteorological data is more or less the core of my job, I was genuinely exited. Kenny StyleHello @rejinl. About a year ago your work inspired an idea - Making scale-mail out of paper. Well here we are. 26” tall by 15” across. 67 scales. Paper = upcycled junk mail. The colors are from fountain pen inks mixed in the pulp, then baked at a low temp for about an hour. Held together with twine (amazingly intricate and haywire on the back). Made the scales almost a year ago and finally put it all together this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement! #art #handmade #paper
