The Vietnamese Buddhist pagoda Viên Giác in Hanover-Seelhorst is one of eight Vietnamese Buddhist pagodas in Germany and one of the largest in Europe. Vietnamese ‘boat people’ have been coming to Lower Saxony since 1978.
