Portland's China Town hangs on by a thread today - a few Chinese-American owned businesses remain. Portland's beautiful Lan Su Chinese Garden is there. Otherwise, the Chinese community has dispersed, mostly to suburbia. But the China Gate still marks the entrance to the neighborhood.
