An Anise Swallowtail butterfly I spotted while hiking to The Thumb (a.k.a. God's Thumb) near Lincoln City on August 11. Thankfully, the trail was quiet and I was able to stand at a distance and watch it flutter about and take several photos of it with my zoom lens.
