In an unexpected turn of events, RME has released a firmware update for my Digiface USB interface that makes it class compliant. That means that I can plug it in to my MPC Live III and have 32 channels i/o. (I tested it and holy shit, it works. My whole studio is just suddenly available in there.)

And THAT means that I don't need to use my computer to make music at all anymore unless I just want to.

And THAT means Alison is a happy duck.
