La regola è sempre la stessa. La comunicazione “trumpiana” in Italia la fa la sinistra contro il centrodestra. La tecnica è la solita: “saturare” gli spazi mediatici di attacchi contro il governo, usare ogni occasione, affastellare nuovi argomenti e polemiche prim'ancora che siano giunte le risposte a quelli vecchi, tenere sempre operativo un “idrante”, un diffusore di veleni.
Si prenda la giornata di ieri a Modena. La visita congiunta del Presidente della Repubblica e del Presidente del Consiglio suggeriva, come grammatica istituzionale e perfino come “estetica”, un momento di unità.
E invece guardate le titolazioni: Repubblica si butta sulla lite Fi-Lega, la Stampa fa questa scelta addirittura in prima, mentre all'interno, con la solita Flavia Perina, parla di “crime show sovranista” (dunque il problema sarebbe Salvini più che l'attentatore?). Stessa scelta per la prima di Domani. Mentre il Fatto, lanciato sulla linea psichiatrica per spiegare Modena, attacca il governo per i tagli alle terapie: dev'esser proprio quella la causa dell'attentato. Non si sa se ridere o piangere.
Ma tutto questo è una lezione per il centrodestra: serve a poco tendere la mano. Dall'altra parte si morde e basta.

The rule is always the same. The “Trumpian” communication in Italy is done by the left against the center-right. The technique is the usual one: “saturate” media spaces with attacks against the government, use every opportunity, pile on new arguments and polemics before even the old ones have answers, always keep an “hydrant” – a distributor of poisons – operational.
Take yesterday’s day in Modena. The joint visit by the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister suggested, as institutional grammar and even as “aesthetics,” a moment of unity.
And instead look at the headlines: Repubblica jumps on the Fi-Lega quarrel, La Stampa makes this choice even in the first, while inside, with the usual Flavia Perina, talks of a “sovereign crime show” (so the problem would be Salvini more than the attacker?). Same choice for Domani’s premiere. While Il Fatto, launched on the psychiatric line to explain Modena, attacks the government over cuts to therapies: it must be precisely that cause of the attack. It’s not known whether to laugh or cry.
But all this is a lesson for the center-right: it’s of little use to extend the hand. On the other side, they simply bite and that’s it.
