I'm looking for tabletop roleplayers for a new campaign in the southeastern Massachusetts / RI area. The campaign will meet weekly in person, with a supplemental online board for those who want to use it. Experience is NOT necessary, just imagination and a sense of humor!

I have over 40 years of experience running games, and published a roleplaying APA (amateur press association) for years; I've also been a program participant and panelist on the topic, among many others, for decades at a regional convention.

The campaign is multi-genre, allowing players to travel to all sorts of worlds. These include worlds inspired by classic and modern fiction, fantasy, science fiction, comic books, horror, cartoons, and original creations. Exploration and roleplaying will be the focus rather than combat, although combat isn't forbidden. The goal is for everyone to have fun.

I'm really missing running tabletop roleplaying games. There's no way to say this without sounding conceited, but it's something I'm really good at.

So: would anyone be interested in an online campaign? I can't say how long it would run, and obviously there would be no commitment. I haven't run an online campaign since the '80s, since I generally prefer face-to-face roleplaying. Still, unless there are four or five gamers in my area who would like to meet at my place once a week, an online game is probably the best I'm going to get at this point.

I'm thinking a multi-genre, character focused campaign with a lot of imagination and exploration. Very light on mechanics. Let me know if you're interested! Experience is absolutely not required, but a sense of humor is.

I don't know why, but when I make a post on Reddit asking for others to play older 360 games like GTA 4 or Black Ops 1, people respond asking if I wanna play GTA 5 & Black Ops 6.

No, I don't. I prefer the older games & I'm looking for others to play with because the new games don't really do it for me & finding quality players in said older games is a challenge.

So yeah, if you'd be up to play games like that, let me know & we'll set something up.
